Only one person in the state can lay claim to overseeing a center which has more than 400 research projects underway at anytime, and who also oversees offices situated in all 88 counties focusing on agriculture, natural resources and environmental sciences.
Dr. Bruce McPheron, dean of the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Eciences, and vice president of agricultural administration at The Ohio State University, will speak at the monthly Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum Nov. 20. hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation.
Two of Dr. McPheron’s major administration arms include the Ohio State University Extension, which delivers knowledge from the university to the citizens of the state, and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, which encompasses more than 2,100 faculty and staff statewide.
Arrive early, as breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow.
The cost is just $10 per person (cash or check at the door) which includes breakfast and networking opportunities.
