Young people ages 18 to 35 who work in Ohio agriculture are invited to join Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Agricultural Professionals for a weekend of personal and professional development. This year’s conference theme is Planting our Future; Harvesting our Potential.
The Young Agricultural Professionals group consists of full and part-time farmers, Extension educators, teachers, consumer educators, media reporters, livestock and equine enthusiasts, beekeepers, green industry employees, gardeners, foodies and more.
Participants will enjoy a selection of quality workshops including an overview of government programs and grants; honing public speaking, photography and videography skills; financial planning; working with the family on the farm; and building your resume.
Registration for the conference is $130 per person before Feb. 3 and $150 per person before Feb. 17 and includes hotel lodging and group meals. Please return the registration form to your county Farm Bureau office. The event is open to Farm Bureau members only.
Please bring two nonperishable food items to the conference. Examples are: peanut butter, mac & cheese, canned goods, rice, pasta, etc. All collected food will be donated to local food banks.
