The day-long Friday Business to Business Workshop, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, is followed on Saturday morning, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, with a free Public Green Energy Expo Showcase and Consumer Workshop at the Dayton Convention Center. This largest ever workshop by statewide nonprofit Green Energy Ohio (GEO) is hosted locally by the Dayton Development Coalition. Primary sponsors are Dayton Power & Light, Ohio Department of Development and Ohio State University Extension. The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is also supporting the event.America’s Energy Coach Tom Kiser, PSI, Inc., Kroger Company’s Corporate Energy Manager Denis George and Battelle’s Vice President of Strategy Development Mike Aimone are keynote speakers for the Friday workshop where 16 panels with over 60 experts and trade show exhibits will allow attendees to hear and talk first-hand with key energy efficiency and renewable energy professionals. Friday panels include one or more sessions on green jobs, energy efficiency, green businesses and buildings, policy and financial incentives, powering business with solar, wind and biomass, alternative fuel vehicles, Ohio Solar Tour and green job training and education. Local and state businesses are featured in case studies along with green energy businesses and trade show exhibitors. Registration for the Friday, Feb. 11 Business to Business Workshop and Trade Show is $115 for the public and $90 for Green Energy Ohio, Dayton Development Coalition and Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Members.
