To remain focused on current issues and opportunities within the pork industry, and reflect on previous accomplishments, all producers should plan to attend the 2016 Ohio Pork Congress held Feb. 9-10 at the Crowne Plaza North in Columbus. Pre-registration is due by Jan. 21, 2016.
New to the 2016 Ohio Pork Congress is the addition of the Tri-State Sow Housing Conference, hosted by The Ohio State University, Michigan State University and Purdue University. This special symposium Tuesday, Feb. 9, is designed as an educational opportunity for producers, focused on one of the pork industry’s most widely debated animal welfare topics – sow housing. Registration is also due Jan. 21 for this event.
