Mr. Lee’s Restaurant 2000 East Wheeling Avenue , Cambridge, Ohio
Landowners with royalty interests in older vertical wells are invited to a meeting to help them become good business partners with oil and gas producers holding the leases on their property by becoming knowledgeable regarding important aspects of their lease in the current market.
Dale Arnold, Ohio Farm Bureau director of energy policy, as well as representatives from the White Law Offices, will guide a discussion that will include but not be limited to the following topics: post production costs being deducted from royalty checks, the law regarding wells that have been inactive for more than two years, and wells that have been shut in by court order.
Those in attendance will also be given detailed written instructions on how to access the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Oil and Gas Database so they can monitor the production reports being submitted for their wells.
This meeting is a benefit of Farm Bureau membership and non-members are welcome for a $5 per person fee. Further information can be obtained by calling the Farm Bureau office at 740-425-3681.
