Outstanding in the Field is a roving culinary adventure that travels around the country setting their long table in fields, gardens, beaches and vineyards. Its mission is to promote local food and agriculture and get people out to the farm to see where their food is coming from and meet the farmers. Chef Michael Paley from Metropole will be preparing a farm dinner experience not to be missed. Tickets are available on the Outstanding in the Field website, www.outstandinginthefield.com
Located in Cincinnati’s new 21c Museum Hotel, Metropole offers a contemporary take on old world fireplace cooking techniques. Led by Michael Paley, the menu focuses on dishes cooked in a custom-built wood-burning fireplace. A showcase for the region’s sustainable farmers and producers, Metropole’s ever-changing menu features hearth roasted meats, fish and vegetables; grains; and housemade charcuterie.
