The Wyandot County Farm Bureau is dedicated to creating a partnership between farmers and consumers that meets consumer needs and ensures agricultural prosperity in a global market place. Farm Bureau is directed by its members, from the county level up. The members define the positions the organization takes on issues affecting farmers and rural residents through an annual policy development process. The grassroots process begins at the county level and leads to the creation of policy positions that guide legislative and regulatory action by the organization on important issues.
We would like for you to provide input into areas of county, state, or national issues that need attention. Policy development is essential for a grassroots, member driven organization like Farm Bureau to ensure agricultural prosperity in the local market place. You are cordially invited to the Wyandot County Farm Bureau Policy Development breakfast meeting.
Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization, and without your involvement, the vitality of the organization suffers. Your ideas and participation will help create better policies and programs to not only improve the organization, but our community as well. By the end of July, the Farm Bureau policy development committee will take the input received by you and other local leaders and pen the policy resolutions which will be voted on by the membership at our annual meeting. Those approved will go on to the State and then move on to the American Farm Bureau Federation.
If you would like to join us, please make your reservation by Wednesday, June 14, to [email protected] or call (800)327-6055. Thanks and we hope to see you on the 21st!
