Richland County Farm Bureau invites you to join us for dinner and to learn more about Ohio‘s Current Agricultural Usage Value (CAUV) and property taxes. Leah Curtis from the Ohio Farm Bureau will explain the calculation and factors affecting the assigned soil values the actions Ohio farm Bureau has taken, and changes that the organization will continue to push. The goal is to update and modernize the calculation to make sure it is accurately tied to the agricultural economy.
This meeting will also serve as the kickoff to our membership campaign. We will cover other money saving benefits of your membership and services available from OFBF to members and the membership structure for Farm Bureau. Members will be supplied materials so that they are able to share the Farm Bureau story with friends and neighbors and be prepared to “Be a Member: Ask a Member.”
