RICHLAND COUNTY FARM Bureau invites you to attend its annual Farmers Share Breakfast. Breakfast is served for only 50 cents or a donation, including pancakes, fresh whole-hog sausage, local eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee. “By inviting consumers to our Farmers Share Breakfast, we hope to connect with them and provide a better understanding of the origins of the food on their plates,” said Earl Lynch, Richland County Farm Bureau Breakfast co-chair.
All of the money donated at the breakfast is given to Richland County food pantries. In honor of the FFA chapters that help with the event, more than $7,800 has been donated to area food banks and Harmony House, which provides emergency housing, food, and supportive services to those who are homeless, in the past six years. There will be several area farmers and business displays featuring farms, insurance and GMC vehicles as well as free blood pressure checks.
For more information, contact Richland County Farm Bureau at [email protected] or 419-747-7488. There is no cost to attend; donations will be accepted.
