June 28, 12pm–2pmWhere
Seneca County Farm Bureau building 100 Hopewell Ave, Tiffin, Ohio
Policy development is an important activity the Seneca County Farm Bureau conducts each year. The policies are the backbone of Farm Bureau. They provide the framework through which we advocate for family, community and food security issues. They help guide efforts to address real community issues — such as regulations, funding public education and services, environmental protection, animal care, health care, landowner’s rights and community planning. These policies are used to develop programs, projects and advocacy at the state and federal level, but just as important, are used to help guide the yearly plan of work for Seneca County Farm Bureau volunteers. Throughout the program year, our “action projects” will be based on these policies. This is a process that truly represents democracy in action.
Please join Seneca County Farm Bureau for its annual Policy Development Meeting. Lunch will be provided.
Your input is vital to the success of this program. We would like for you to offer one or two issues that you feel that Farm Bureau should work on this year. You may suggest ideas that you have thought of through work or from personal experience. Please write down your ideas and be prepared to share them with the group.
Please RSVP by June 21 by calling 419-447-3091 or email [email protected]
We hope to see you on June 28th.
