At less than a quarter mile, the Wildflower Trail we’ll visit offers a diverse array of spring wildflowers of all colors and shapes, including trillium, hepatica, dwarf ginseng, spring beauty, mayapple, Solomon’s seal, Jack-in-the-pulpit and wild ginger, among others.
Learn interesting folklore about the flowers including unusual pollination mechanisms, historical native American and pioneer uses of them, and name origins.
No registration is required for this all-ages program, which is not wheelchair/stroller accessible due to some hilly terrain. Call 440-286-9516 with questions.
