Winter months typically might be cold and dreary outside but Ohio wine enthusiasts will not let the winter blahs get them down! Their mood and wine glasses will be lifted at the Atwood Wine Weekend. With so much to do at Atwood Lake Resort and Golf Club, will always discover new and exciting activities to keep them entertained during the cold winter months…but especially during the coming Winter Wine Weekend.
With support from the Ohio Grape Industries Committee, plus the Carroll County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Atwood Lake Resort has teamed up with the Ohio Wine Producers Association to create a special weekend for Ohio wine lovers and foodies too. Guests will have the opportunity to sample and purchase wines from some of Ohio vineyards and be treated to wine and food pairings from Atwood’s talented chef, Angus McIntosh. Award winning Adams Reserve Cheddar will be featured throughout the weekend. Participants will attend wine appreciation classes and enjoy the opportunity and mingle with the wine makers from 10 of Ohio’s most prestigious wineries representing nearly every corner of the state.

The weekend package includes two full days of wine sampling, all meals including a multi-course banquet, a wine reception and seminar classes, a bag of ‘swag’ and much more. The cost per couple is $450 and single is $250. (Additional $109 per night for accommodations).
