Knipp re-elected to Ohio Farm Bureau board of trustees

CINCINNATI, Ohio (OFBF) – Daryl Knipp has been re-elected to the board of trustees for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). As the District 2 trustee, he will represent Farm Bureau members from Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood counties.
Knipp will be serving his second three-year term and will help govern Ohio’s largest general farm organization. He has been a Sandusky County Farm Bureau member for more than 33 years, having served as president and in a variety of other leadership roles. He also has served on the American Farm Bureau Labor Advisory Committee.
Knipp and his wife, Cate, farm near Lindsey where they produce processing tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers and grain. He also is chairman of the board at the farm cooperative Luckey Farmers, Inc. Knipp is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a board member for Community Health Services. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Ohio State University.
Knipp was elected during the organization’s 91st annual meeting held Dec. 2–4 in Cincinnati.
