OSU South Centers and the OSU Department of Entomology will showcase their newly established hops research planting and malting barley research. This research is evaluating  new hop cultivars, innovative hop production techniques, insect and disease control methods, harvesting, processing and marketing techniques that can be adopted by Ohio farmers to provide hops for Ohio’s increasing brewing industry.
