Breakfast Parfaits

These healthy breakfast “treats” are so simple to put together that you shouldn’t save them just for company. Change up the flavors with granola and seasonal berries and this will always seem like a new recipe.

Makes 4 servings


  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups mixed or seasonal berries
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 4 teaspoons almonds, crushed


Using four sundae or parfait glasses, layer the ingredients as follows in each glass: ¼ cup cottage cheese, 1 tablespoon granola, ¼ cup berries. Repeat the layers and top each parfait with a teaspoon of crushed almonds. Chill for an hour before serving.
