These cookies need to be left in the oven overnight (turned OFF). But, don’t forget them!
- 2 egg whites
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks (approximately 15 minutes). Mix in vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto foil covered cookie sheets. Will spread so leave space. Place cookie sheets in oven and close door. Turn oven OFF. Leave cookies in oven overnight. May use food color for holidays.
