This cheesy and creamy potato dish needs to bake for at least an hour.
- 1 bag frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 stick butter
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese
- 2 cups corn flakes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Partially thaw potatoes (10 minutes in microwave) and place in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased pan. Mix sour cream, chicken soup and stick of melted butter and pour over potatoes. Mix together cheese, corn flakes and 1/2 stick melted butter; sprinkle over the sour cream mixture. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes or until done.
