Start with saltine crackers to make this easy recipe.
- 1 1/2 sleeves saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a jellyroll pan with foil and vegetable coating spray. Layer saltines on the foil. In a saucepan melt butter, add sugar and stir slightly. Over low heat, bring the mixture to a boil and let boil for 4 minutes. DO NOT STIR! Pour butter and sugar mixture immediately over the crackers. Bake for exactly 6 minutes. As soon as the crackers come out of the oven, evenly sprinkle both kinds of chips over the hot bubbly pan. Wait 10 minutes, spread the melted chips over the saltines.
Place in refrigerator to cool. Break into pieces.
