A layered bar cookie with chocolate and pecans, yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 7/8 cups flour
  • 6 milk chocolate bars
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Gradually add flour until smooth. Place mixture into ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. After baking, place chocolate bars on top to melt. Can use a spoon to spread the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with pecans.
