Want to understand more about the somewhat new option in forestry, agriculture, and the carbon market? Part of the discussion about air pollution and climate change involves the process of photosynthesis and standing timber. Corporations responsible for air pollution are eager to pay landowners with standing timber to delay harvesting the trees that are storing the carbon that their businesses help to emit.
