Important News About the Ohio Farm Bureau Health Benefits Plan — A New Strategic Partnership with the SOCA Benefit Plan. In 2027 Ohio Farm Bureau will partner with the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA) to offer eligible OFBF members access to the SOCA Benefit Plan. This partnership will help current OFBF Health Benefits Plan participants access the SOCA Benefit Plan, which is Ohio’s largest group of this type. We cannot bring new groups into the Plan until 1/1/2027. If an employer group is seeking coverage to begin this calendar year, we would encourage them to work through their broker to either: 1) find short-term coverage options, or 2) go directly to the SOCA Benefit Plan and join under a chamber membership.
