In 2027 Ohio Farm Bureau will partner with the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA) to offer eligible OFBF members access to the SOCA Benefit Plan. This partnership will help current OFBF Health Benefits Plan participants access the SOCA Benefit Plan, which is Ohio’s largest group of this type.
Ohio Farm Bureau Health Benefits Plan will end effective December 31, 2026. However, no coverage is being interrupted before that date.
Current OFBF Health Benefits Plan participants should work with their current health care insurance agents for details.
We cannot bring new groups into the Plan until 1/1/2027.
If an employer group is seeking coverage to begin this calendar year, we would encourage them to work through their broker to either: 1) find short-term coverage options, or 2) go directly to the SOCA Benefit Plan and join under a chamber membership.
