Hi! We’re Levi and Krysti Morrow from Morgan County for today’s #TakeOverTuesday. Together we own and operate Rocky Knob Farms in McConnelsville. Levi works off the farm as one of two agriculture education teachers at Morgan High School and Krysti manages day-to-day operations on the farm and takes care of our son Charlie. We grow strawberries and pumpkins for U-Pick customers and wholesale and are just getting into commercial hair sheep. . . #TakeOverTuesday this week is with Rocky Knob Farms in Morgan County. Spring time is busy on every farm but for us it’s not planting – we’re getting ready to harvest our first crop. Our strawberries start ripening for picking in the first two weeks of May and will continue through early June. We sell the majority of our berries on the farm to customers who come to pick their own. What isn’t sold “in the field” is either wholesaled at our local produce auction or frozen for jam. There’s just nothing quite like a fresh strawberry! . . #TakeOverTuesday this week is with Rocky Knob Farms in Morgan County.
