Annually the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation recognizes a volunteer leader in each county for his or her service and dedication to the organization. County Boards of Trustees are asked to select a person that has given time and effort to the organization to further the mission of Farm Bureau “Working together for Ohio farmers to advance agriculture and strengthen our communities.”
Monroe County Farm Bureau has selected Larry Tomaszczyk, Woodsfield, who will be recognized as one of the 86 county volunteers at the Ohio Farm Bureau annual meeting held in Columbus, Dec. 4-5.
Born and raised in Steubenville, Larry owned a drywall business for over 50 years. He has served on the Monroe County Board of Trustees for several years, as well as membership chairman and nominating chairman. As membership chair, Larry has made many new friends in his contact with people throughout the county. He and wife, Jeannie, now enjoy life on their farm in Monroe County.
