Farm Bureau Night at the Ballpark
Farm Bureau members and friends of members are invited to join us at Canal Park in Akron for a night of baseball and fireworks on Saturday June 22.
Read MoreAt the recent Holmes County Farm Bureau Board Meeting, several items of importance were discussed:
-Holmes County Farm Bureau accepted Columbiana County’s Kentucky Tornado Challenge and donated $500 toward the recovery efforts after the recent tornado destruction. Other county Farm Bureaus and local organizations are encouraged to also donate toward this cause, managed by the Kentucky Farm Bureau.
-Farm Bureau members will be able to purchase discount tickets to the June 4 Akron Rubber Ducks game.
-The county decided to renew the Chamber of Commerce membership and will be attending the Annual Dinner Feb. 11.
-Loudonville Farmer’s Equity is having its open house March 16. Farm Bureau will sponsor a door prize and will have a membership table set up.
-The Women in Ag Conference is March 25. Holmes County is sponsoring money toward a Farm Bureau sponsorship and is exploring other discounts for members.
-The Ohio Forum for Companion Animals conference is Feb. 25-26 at Mt. Hope Event Center. There will be a membership table at the event.
-The Holmes County Farm Bureau Larry Lee Lang Scholarship is open for applications through the Holmes County Education Foundation.
