Learn more about featured Lake County Board Member, Sarah Stroop.
Sarah resides in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from West Geauga High School in 2006. During her senior year in high school she took a job as an interpreter at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in the dairy parlor. Sarah found the dairy industry interesting and wanted to learn more. This led her to The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster where she studied dairy science. Though she no longer works in the dairy, she is still with Lake Metroparks Farmpark as administrative assistant and just took a promotion and is preparing for a new role at the park as the admissions manager. Sarah will be getting married in September to Tyler Tremaglio. They have two dogs, Simon and Cala, which are both rescues and they hope to get chickens in the next year or so. She has been a Farm Bureau member for a year, and has been a part of the board for two months.
When we asked Sarah why she was a Farm Bureau member, she said “I became a Farm Bureau member to support the local farming industry in our area.” An interesting fact about Sarah is that during her second year at ATI, she completed an internship with the Walt Disney Company in Orlando. She worked in Animal Kingdom at Expedition Everest.
Thank you Sarah. We appreciate your dedication to Lake County Farm Bureau.
