Join the Crawford County Farm Bureau and Crawford County Cattlemen’s Association for the Crawford County Carcass Show July 24, at 7 p.m. at Link’s Country Meats located at 7252 Leesville Rd, Crestline, OH 44827.
This educational event will showcase many junior livestock champions from the 2019 Crawford County Fair and more from the community. Evaluations of lamb, goat, swine and steer carcasses will be led by Dr. Lyda Garcia, professor at The Ohio State University, and the Ohio State Meat Judging team. Guests will learn about evaluation, grading, quality and cuts.
Link’s Country Meats, a fifth-generation meat market, is a state inspected, custom and retail meat market. The market carries beef, pork and chicken cuts along with a small selection of frozen fish. In addition, it has a wide variety of sausages and bratwursts, hot dogs, bacon, ham, liver pudding (seasonal), meatballs, ham loaf and more. All meat products are made fresh on site.
