JOIN FARM BUREAU for a morning of personal growth, safety meetings, issue updates, farm to table cooking demonstrations, fun and more. Enjoy a free lunch when you attend one mandatory membership and benefits session.

Tri Rivers Career Center students will provide simple health checks, child care and mani-pedis. Bring the whole family and find out what your Farm Bureau membership is really worth.

This day features several personal development opportunities:

Safety training sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. with an update on OBWC from our CompManagement team. Attend at least one safety session to meet your Workers’ Compensation Group Rating requirement for the year.

Membership sessions at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. with discussion about membership benefits and services available from Ohio Farm Bureau to members and the membership structure for Farm Bureau.

Other public policy sessions led by Ohio Farm Bureau staff include a water quality update at 8:30 a.m., Current Agricultural Use Value and 2016 priority issues at 9 a.m., and energy issues and pipeline construction update at noon.

A Nationwide Insurance Land as Your Legacy seminar at 10:30 a.m. will offer direction as you consider generational transition planning for your farming operation. The session will repeat at noon depending on interest.

When not in training, visit our partners – such as Case IH, Grainger, Nationwide Agribusiness, GM, Sherwin Williams and more – and learn about the savings opportunities your membership affords you and your family. County Farm Bureau activities will be on display too, highlighting the great work each does and illustrating how your membership helps build a better community.

There will be supervised children’s activities, featuring a puppet show, ag activities and a live animal presentation from the Columbus Zoo.

Bring the whole family and attend the development sessions while your kids have fun learning about animals, food and farming. Bring a potential NEW Farm Bureau member and receive a special gift.

Registration: Registration is required for all attendees. Register online by Feb. 1 at or call Marion County Farm Bureau at 740-363-1613. There is no cost to attend.
