The morning event will be a celebration of city agriculture. Participants will tour area gardens and learn how to create small or large edible gardens in their own backyards. Each tour stop offers locally grown food for tasting or sale such as salsa, honey, and eggs from free-range chickens. Tour begins at 10 am and concludes with lunch at noon.
Guests will enjoy a fun and unique tour experience, complete with lunch portions sponsored by locally sourced foods from the tour gardens. Lunch served at The Colony Club.
Proceeds go to lunch provided with tour and to foster more edible garden tours in the future in Gallia County.
