Guernsey County Farm Bureau will hold its annual pork chop dinner Friday, April 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Stop Nine Senior Center, 60330 Southgate Rd, Byesville. The menu includes grilled pork chops, parsley potatoes, green beans, applesauce, rolls, beverage and ice cream all for $15 for Farm Bureau members, $18 for nonmembers, and $8 for children under age 8.

Call the county Farm Bureau office 740-425-3681 or email [email protected] to purchase tickets. Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, April 12, and tickets are advance sale only.

In addition, there will be a state of the county program, with several of our state and county officials presenting an update from their office’s area of expertise, such as our county commissioners, and State Rep. Don Jones. A silent auction with numerous items to bid upon and a 50/50 drawing also will take place. All proceeds will be donated to the county scholarship fund.
