Join Athens-Meigs County Farm Bureau alongside Athens Soil and Water Conservation District at the Red Bird Ranch Cabin for safety presentations from The Ohio State University and OSU Extension, equipment presentations/infield demos and a presentation on how to read a seed tag. There also will be activities for the younger attendees such as fishing, archery, an activity table and a safety session. Dinner will be provided courtesy of Athens-Meigs County Farm Bureau.
Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $5 for ages 16 and up, and free for ages 15 and under. Please call Athens SWCD at 740-797-9686 ext. 5 to RSVP.
Each family may bring one soil sample to be sent for analysis at NO CHARGE. For proper soil sampling guidance, see the brochure.
To get to the cabin follow S.R. 329 through Guysville, turn left onto New England Rd, and the cabin is the first driveway on the right.
