Holmes County Farm Bureau, NRCS and Soil and Water Conservation District are hosting the annual Local Work Group and Policy Development breakfast on March 19, 2024 at the Love Center Community Room. The event will start at 8 a.m. and conclude by 10 a.m. This event is free to attend and will include breakfast.
This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community who are passionate about making a difference. We’ll be discussing important local conservation and agriculture issues and brainstorming solutions together. The Local Work Group gathers information from local stakeholders, landowners and residents and guides NRCS and Soil & Water field office implementation and delivery of conservation programs. Farm Bureau will also address a diverse list of policy issues and utilize local input to guide changes from a grassroots level.
