Emotions run deep when talking about the family farm. It’s your passion. It’s your family. It’s your business. While nearly everyone wants to see the farm stay in agriculture, presumably staying in the family, putting a plan together while ensuring the family dynamics and harmony remains intact can feel overwhelming. And often the topic can be so emotionally charged and difficult that planning is put off until it’s too late.

To help address this dilemma, Ohio Farm Bureau is piloting a unique program to help farm families work through the emotional difficulties of generational farm succession and business transition planning.
