As you are probably aware, there is unfathomable drug issue in the United States. Drug overdoses are at an all time high and can be witnessed in every city, town, hamlet and community. Ross County is no exception.

The Ross County Farm Bureau recognizes this issue and has taken action. Since 2018, we have partnered with the Drug-Free Clubs of America’s MADE (My Attitude Determines Everything), a nationally recognized drug prevention and education program for youth, to address this issue at a time in life when intervention is most successful.

MADE on the FarmThe Ross County Farm Bureau is once again wanting to raise funds to support local MADE chapters in each of the high schools in the county. In 2022, we were able to raise $6,000, which was presented to Dave Huggins with the Buck-Fifty program and distributed among each chapter.  This year we have a goal to surpass last year’s contribution.  Will you help us out?

A sponsorship is $67 per student, per school year.  We are asking our members to sponsor a student for the 2023-2024 school year. If one life can be save through this program, it is well worth your investment. Your sponsorship will earn you one ticket per sponsorship to our Sponsor Appreciation Reception Sept. 10.

If you wish to sponsor a student, please call the Farm Bureau office at 740-474-6284.
