Morrow County Farm Bureau is proud to partner with Morrow County Dairy Association, Morrow County OSU Extension and Morrow County Jr. Fair Board for a dairy tour on June 16, from 1-4 p.m. The dairy tour will take place at Spring Valley Dairy Farm, located at 7415 County Road 30 in Mt. Gilead.
The tour will show the public how a working dairy farm is run. Stops on the tour will range from information on cow health and care, calf care and nutrition, nutritional food values, parlor and milk testing, plus more! In addition to the tour, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious dairy treats such as ice cream, milk and Swiss and rye sandwiches.
The educational tour hopes to answer all of your questions about today’s dairy industry. This event is free to attend and open to the general public.
