Tractor training designed especially for individuals beginning or aspiring to grow food to meet the demand of local markets, by operating on a small or medium-sized farm.

Gain experience in safe tractor operations under the supervision of highly qualified instructors. Learn how to attach implements, how to perform basic maintenance, and how to purchase and store tractors. Network with area farmers who own tractors.

1st session: Tractor Operations, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Location: Gwynne Conservation Area and Natural Resources Interpretive Center, 640 Arbuckle Rd., London, OH 43140 (at OSU’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center)

2nd Session: Maintenance and More, 1:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Location: Procter Farm, 11235 SR 38 London, OH 43140 (6 acre mixed vegetable farm at the Procter Center)
