Read MoreApproximately 300 fourth grade students from Gallia County attended the 18th Annual Ag Awareness Day. They spent the day at the Gallia County Fairgrounds learning about various farm animals, tractors, 4-H, shooting safety, skins and skulls, Lyme disease, erosion, beekeeping, making soybean necklaces, and they enjoyed a hayride. All the students participated in a contest to draw an agriculture-related scene prior to the event. Thanks to our sponsors, each student was sent home with a free T-shirt featuring the winning drawing (by Lyla Swain from Hannan Trace Elementary).
