2025 priorities discussed at Farm Bureau’s Ag Day at the Capital
A large contingency of Ohio Farm Bureau members made their way to the Statehouse Feb. 19 to meet one-on-one with their state senators and representatives.
Read MoreVonderhaar has been a Farm Bureau member for the past 10 years, and on the board for nine of those years. She was born and raised on a farm, where her parents were Farm Bureau members. This ingrained in her a passion for agriculture. She wanted to have a voice in the issues that Farm Bureau brings to light. She enjoys the people of Farm Bureau: they always provide resources and information concerning agriculture. Aside from Farm Bureau, Rachael is involved with various other organizations, such as the Ohio AgriWomen, the Farm Credit Advisory Committee, and Habitat for Humanity, among many others. She and her family raise corn, soybeans and wheat, with a small sheep and cattle operation. She and her husband of 22 years, Alan, have three grown children, Adam, Ryan, and Caroline, and they once housed an exchange student from Italy, Elena. Their family focuses on their passion for faith, family and agriculture. They always are doing their best to commit their time to their passions.
