2025 priorities discussed at Farm Bureau’s Ag Day at the Capital
A large contingency of Ohio Farm Bureau members made their way to the Statehouse Feb. 19 to meet one-on-one with their state senators and representatives.
Read MoreJohn Jacob grew up in a family who participated in Farm Bureau, but he didn’t actually join himself until a few years ago. John is thrilled to be able to give back to the community by serving on the board. He wants to have a broader voice in the community because that voice will potentially be heard in the state. John loves the social aspect of Farm Bureau. Interacting with others is a great feature of the organization for him. John is married to his wife, Karen. They have been married for 15 years and have a very agriculturally active son. John works on his family farm, a small cattle operation and he runs a family owned masonry business. He is also on the board for Hamilton County 4-H. John can’t stress enough the importance of getting involved with the community through organizations, such as Farm Bureau, FFA, and 4-H because without participation, our voice will never be heard.
