Belmont County Farm Bureau and WesBanco Bank, Barnesville, each purchased a hog at the Belmont County Fair. Representing Belmont County Farm Bureau was trustee Devin Cain. WesBanco was represented by Denise Jones, mortgage loan officer; and John Rataiczak, Banking Center manager. The county Farm Bureau paid for the processing and a total of 332 pounds of pork was donated to six area food banks. As a result of this joint effort, food banks in Flushing and Martins Ferry, along with First Christian Church Five Loaves Food Pantry in Barnesville, Bridgeport Christian Friendship Council of Churches Food Pantry, Bellaire Salvation Army, and St. Clairsville Council of Churches Food Pantry were recipients of the packages of pork. Farm Bureau members who delivered the pork were Jerry and Lova Ebbert and Devin Cain.

Jerry Ebbert delivered pork to Bellaire Salvation Army which was received by Doug Morgan, administrative assistant and Misty Maupin, case manager.
