Crawford County Fair

Crawford County Farm Bureau would like to encourage everyone to visit the Crawford County Fair July 17 – 22. Check out this year’s schedule of Farm Bureau sponsored events!

The Crawford County Farm Bureau is the sponsor of the day on Thursday! Farm Bureau will have a trivia wheel you can spin for prizes. There will also be a Scavenger Hunt across the fairgrounds, so get your questions sheet in the sponsor of the day tent on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and look for the signs as you tour the 2023 Crawford County Fair. Turn your completed sheets in by the end of the day to receive a prize.

The Saturday Night Square Dance will begin on Sat., July 22, at 4 p.m. outside of the Crawford County 4-H Building. In case of inclement weather, the dance will be moved to the Youth Building.

The Crawford County Farm Bureau is sponsoring stall signs exhibitors can display during fair week. This sign gives exhibitors access to exclusive add-on money for their project. Signs can be reserved until Mon., July 3, by clicking here or calling the office at (419) 747-7488.

Come and join all the fun happening at this year’s Crawford County Fair. The Crawford County Farm Bureau is a proud supporter of the Junior Fair and would like to wish good luck to all of the participants showing their livestock and home projects at the fair. Farm Bureau has also sponsored the Reserve Champion awards.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
