Ashtabula Ag Day, sponsored by Ashtabula County OSU Extension and Ashtabula County Farm Bureau, is the county’s youth agricultural education event, where first graders come to the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds to experience agriculture through hands-on and interactive stations.
Activities range from butter making, learning about soil, and planting tomatoes, to learning more about farm animals and learning about the origins of the food and fiber people need.
We can’t wait to see our 1000+ first graders in Ashtabula County attending Ag Day 2024 on Friday, May 10, 2024.
We are looking for volunteers with a passion for agriculture and our youth to help us. This event has an annual attendance of over 1,000 first graders, and 300+ volunteers are needed.
Please register as soon as possible. This is a truly amazing and impactful experience and we would love to have you!
