Butler County Farm Bureau is accepting nominations for two awards. Nominations for both awards are due Aug. 25, 2024.

Sarah James Outstanding Volunteer Award

• Any past or present Butler County Farm Bureau active volunteer is eligible for the award.
• Does not have to be a Butler County board member.
• Anyone can make a nomination.

This award will be presented at the Butler County annual meeting each year. The first presentation was made in memory of Sarah James and awarded in 2015. Sarah James blessed the Butler County Farm Bureau with her passion to serve.

No nomination form needed or specific guidelines for recommendations. Person nominating
the volunteer will submit a letter to Butler County Farm Bureau as to why the nominated
volunteer should be awarded this award.

Please include details of the person’s background and volunteer work.

Deadline to return the nomination letter is Aug. 25. Please submit to the
Butler County Farm Bureau office, 2273 Millville Oxford Rd., Hamilton, OH 45013.

Nominations can also be e-mail to [email protected]. Email is best to receive in a timely
manner.

***The Nominating/Friend of Agriculture Award Committee will also select the recipient of
this award.

Butler County has always been one of the counties in Ohio to provide agricultural leadership
throughout the decades. Butler County Farm Bureau board members would like to make sure these leaders are recognized for their dedication, leadership, wisdom and courage.

You are invited to nominate people who you feel have been committed to the
betterment of agriculture in Butler County. The individual(s) will be recognized at the
2024 Annual Meeting, Thurs., Sept. 5, 2024. Individuals submitted for consideration should be a past or present member(s) of Butler County Farm Bureau.
