Guernsey Graze raises over $20,000 for FFA chapters
With the help of donors, the county Farm Bureau raised over $20,000 to help with future programming for Buckeye Trail FFA, Meadowbrook FFA and Mid-East Career Center FFA.

With the help of donors, the county Farm Bureau raised over $20,000 to help with future programming for Buckeye Trail FFA, Meadowbrook FFA and Mid-East Career Center FFA.
Event sponsors at the $1000 level included: Ascent Resources, Bears Den/360 Burger, Bond Family in memory of Robert Bond, Farm Credit Mid-America, Gray’s Family Farm, I70 Auctions, Guernsey Power Station, M&M Feed and Supply, Oakley Cattle & Oakley Contracting, McCormick Farm, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1105, Infinity Natural Resources, and Teal Dove.
Chef Nicole Bates served a locally sourced gourmet meal consisting of smoked lamb with mint sauce, smoked turkey with sausage and herb stuffing, beef tips with mushroom risotto along with numerous side dishes. Charcuterie boards with the FFA emblem along with cheeses and meat adorned the tables. The meal was provided in large part by donations from Peoli Produce Auction. Entertainment was provided by Landon Tom.
A live and silent auction was held with numerous donated items from local businesses. We thank all of our donors, participants and sponsors for a highly successful evening.
