Morrow County Farm Bureau, in partnership with local farmers, will celebrate Ag Week with its annual Farmers Share Breakfast. The cost of the meal is just $1, which includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk, and coffee.

“Farmers and ranchers remain committed to producing safe, healthy food for consumers, and we share with consumers many of the same concerns about putting nutritious meals on the table on a tight budget,” says Warren Davis, Morrow County Breakfast Co-Chair. “By inviting consumers to our Farmers Share Breakfast, we hope to connect with them and provide a better understanding of the origins of the food on their plates and how every person is affected by agriculture every day.”

The National Ag Day program encourages every American to understand how food and fiber products are produced, appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products, value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy, and acknowledge and consider career opportunities in the agriculture, food and fiber industry.
