The premier event for Ohio Farm Bureau’s Young Agricultural Professionals takes place Jan. 27-28 at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky.

Join members ages 18-35 for the annual YAP Conference, a weekend to network, connect with friends, relax and recharge. Young farmers, beginning farmers, students and professionals affiliated with the agriculture industry are welcome!

2023 Keynote Speakers: James Lawrence, ‘The Iron Cowboy’ and a Young Entrepreneurs Panel.

The Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals State Committee put together an incredible array of speakers, taking feedback from young ag professionals as to their interests. Tracks include: Business, Niche Markets, Production Agriculture, and Young Ag Professionals. Choose from 24 sessions and three extended learning sessions.

New this year: Safari Camp

Children between kindergarten and 6th grade may register for Safari Camp at the 2023 Winter Leadership Experience. The cost is $50 per child. Youth registered for Safari Camp will be included in conference meals and activities throughout the two-day experience. Ohio Farm Bureau staff members will host four hands-on learning sessions for the youth, during the breakout session times.

Safari camp is not a babysitting or childcare service. Parents/guardians will be responsible for their child(ren) during the conference. Guests/children registered for the conference will receive meals and access to conference amenities.
