Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, and Trumbull County Farm Bureaus will host a 2026 Safety Meeting for members of Ohio Farm Bureau’s Workers’ Compensation Group Rating Program on April 8 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hall in Orwell.

This in-person session is open to farmers and farm employees, ag businesses, and those companies enrolled in Farm Bureau’s workers’ comp program.

All members of the Group Rating Program are required to attend at least one safety meeting annually. This event provides the training necessary to meet that requirement and aims to promote a strong culture of safety in farm operations.

• Topics will focus on First Aid and Fire Prevention & Control Safety.
• Registration opens at 12:45 p.m.
• Light refreshments will be provided to attendees.
• The meeting is free for Farm Bureau members, while non-members will be charged a $10 fee.
