Statewide, non-profit Green Energy Ohio has organized a second, in-depth Ohio conference focusing on large-scale solar electric installations .

The 19 expert speakers at GEO’s Bowling Green Conference: Building Big Solar Across Ohio are expected to attract community leaders, solar developers, electric utilities, financiers, installers, and contractors along with manufacturers, retailers, government officials, educators, farmers and consumers.

See registration and details on GEO’s website. Early bird registration ends Aug. 22.

Bowling Green, AMP and Next Era are now constructing Ohio’s largest solar field (20 megawatts) near Bowling Green which will highlight this conference. Other large municipal power solar installations at Minster (4.3 megawatts) and Clyde, Ohio (3.6 megawatts) will be featured along with new solar deployment to Ohio’s county governments and rural electric co-operatives.

The GEO News Magazine Summer Edition will also release a new survey of solar energy installations in every county of Ohio and a new listing of the top 25 largest solar arrays in the state. This first-ever county-by-county survey will also be discussed at the conference.
