Carroll County Farm Bureau Coffee Talks Focus on Deer Damage Management

Carroll County Farm Bureau will hold a Coffee Talk April 16, 2026 at 5 p.m. at the Carroll County Coffee Company, located at 704 Canton Rd NW # C in Carrollton. The discussion will revolve around deer predation in corn and soybeans.

Scott Cartwright, State Wildlife Officer, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will navigate the discussion and answer questions.

“Managing deer predation in our corn and soybean fields is vital to protecting the livelihoods of our local family farms,” says Kayla Scott, organization director, Carroll County Farm Bureau. “By providing farmers with effective management strategies, we’re not just protecting crops – we’re helping to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the families who are the backbone of Carroll County agriculture.”

Coffee and light refreshments will be available at the event. Children are welcome.
