Virtual Forum: Transforming the Food System in Ohio

The CIFT Agribusiness Forum aims to bring together business leaders, farmers, and supporters of agriculture to drive conversation and awareness for northwest Ohio. The August forum will feature an insightful presentation on the Appalachia USDA Regional Food Business Center and its approach to transforming the food system in Ohio.

Presenter: Paul Freedman, Director, Appalachia Regional Food Business Center

Freedman brings a wealth of experience in land use policy, zoning, and planning from his tenure with the City of Columbus, Ohio. He has developed area plans, implemented strategies, and coordinated various development projects. Paul’s extensive background includes managing the Floodplain Management Program, developing legislative language, and conducting public meetings. His expertise will provide valuable insights into the initiatives and impact of the Appalachia USDA Regional Food Business Center.
